摘要
习语是语言的精华，是具有特定文化背景和现实意义的表达方式，在各民族语言中都占有着极其重要的地位，掌握一定的习语翻译技巧是有效进行跨文化交流的基本点之一。本文就汉英习语的翻译这一话题作一探讨。
Abstract
The idioms are the essence of a language , they are expres-sions with specific cultural background and practical significance .They take an important part in every language .This paper will discuss the translation be-tween Chinese idioms and English idioms briefly .
