Spatial-Temporal Coupling of Provincial Innovation Input-Innovation Output-Innovation Performance in China
Based on the analysis of coupling mechanism among innovation input,innovation output and innovation performance,a comprehensive index system was built from these three aspects.Then the coupling degrees and coupling coordination degrees of China's 30 provincial units were calculated to assess the coupling coordination development among innovation subsystems,The results show that:The overall coupling coordination degree among innovation subsystems is quite low within the province,the gap of which being even greater if compared to the positive coordination coupling.Most provinces belong to the type of low coupling coordination,with very few to the type of moderate or high coupling coordination and with a concentration in the eastern economically developed regions,showing that there is high correlation between regional innovation and economic development.In terms of spatial distribution,the coupling degree and the coupling coordination degree are both higher in the east and lower in the west.Only the coupling coordination degree shows a significant feature of spatial autocorrelation,and the agglomeration trend is strengthening.Combined with the two values and the classification criteria,Chinese territory could be divided into different categories,and some corresponding countermeasures are proposed on the basic of comparative analysis.
