Regional Differences and Influencing Factors of China's Low-carbon Economic Synergy Efficiency
Based on the panel data of 282 prefecture-level and above cities in China from 2005 to 2019,this paper introduces the synergy of economic scale and carbon emission into the measurement of the synergy efficiency of low-carbon economy,depicts the level and regional differences of the synergy efficiency of low-carbon economy in China,and analyzes the dynamic evolution trend and influencing factors of the synergy efficiency of low-carbon economy by using Kernel density estimation and geographical detector method.The results show:1)The China's low carbon economy synergy efficiency shows an overall upward trend and the distribution pattern of"strong in the east of China and weak in the west of China".2)The synergy efficiency of low carbon economy presents a multi-polar differentiation trend.The level of synergy efficiency of low carbon economy in most cities has improved,but the absolute difference of synergy efficiency of low carbon economy in different regions has increased.3)The economic development level and government intervention are the most important influencing factors of low carbon economy synergy efficiency.Based on the above,it puts forward policy references to improve the synergy efficiency of low carbon economy from the aspects of strengthening top-level design,establishing a model city in the region,taking precise measures and strengthening regional cooperation.
