Index Measurement and Pattern Evolution of Construction Land Transformation in the Pearl River Delta Urban Agglomeration
The study constructs a theoretical framework and measurement index system for construction land transformation, based on"structure-function-benefit"elements of the land use system, coupled with the"production-life-ecology"attributes,comprehensively measures the construction land transition in the Pearl River Delta(PRD)urban agglomeration from 2004 to 2020 using the combination empowerment model,TOPSIS model and spatial difference measurement method, and analyzes the evolution characteristics and causes of its spatio-temporal pattern. It's found that:1)The transformation of construction land in the PRD urban agglomeration shows an evolutionary trend which is fluctuating upward and then fluctuating downward, alternately increasing and decreasing, and tends to be stable, and the degree of spatial differentiation is narrowing.2)The structural transformation of construction land shows a spatial pattern which takes Guangzhou,Shenzhen and Dongguan as the axis to the surrounding areas, with obvious spatial polarization effect and strong mutability and volatility.3)The functional transformation of construction land presents a spatial pattern of"core-edge"with high in the middle of the PRD urban agglomeration and low in the periphery of the PRD urban agglomeration, and the degree of spatial differentiation has been reduced, but the diffusion effect is not obvious.4)The efficiency transformation of construction land presents a gradient decreasing spatial pattern with Shenzhen and Guangzhou as the double cores, the degree of spatial differentiation is enlarged, and the level of balanced and coordinated spatial development is seriously imbalanced. The framework system of construction land transformation emphasizes the interaction between land use system and the production, life and ecological attributes with human activities as the main body, and realizes the systematic integration of explicit form transformation and implicit form transformation from the perspective of land use system.
