"The Belt and Road Initiative"Promoting the Development of Central Asia
The Belt and Road Initiative promotes the development of Central Asia,this paper uses the method of historical comparison to analyze two means shaping the geo-spatial order in Central Asia:geopolitical mean and geoeconomic mean.The results show that geopolitical mean has basically failed to shape the geopolitical spatial order in Central Asia,while new geoeconomic mean with the content of the Belt and Road Initiative has succeeded in shaping the geopolitical spatial order in Central Asia.New geoeconomic mean includes facility connectivity,market integration,interest embedding,and cross-cultural exchange.It uses peaceful ways to shape the geopolitical spatial order.From the development trend of economic regionalism after the Cold War,it is of universal significance for the geopolitical economic mean to shape the geopolitical spatial order.Therefore,this article suggests that it should vigorously promote the geoeconomic mean with the Belt and Road Initiative as the content,peacefully shape the spatial order in China's surrounding areas,and jointly create a new regionalism with economic development as the content.
