Symbiotic Evolution Between New-type Urbanization and Rural Common Prosperity in Typical Counties of Rural Tourism in Yangtze River Delta
Based on symbiosis theory, taking 60 typical rural tourism counties in the Yangtze River Delta as examples, this paper analyzes the temporal and spatial characteristics and mechanism of the symbiotic evolution between new-type urbanization and rural common prosperity using the methods of Lotka-Volterra model, symbiotic coordination degree and geographically weighted regression at the county level from 2000 to 2021.The results show that:1)New-type urbanization and rural common prosperity shows the characteristics of continuous benign symbiotic evolution in typical counties of rural tourism in the Yangtze River Delta.Towns obviously drive the rural development, and rural areas are gradually catching up with towns.2)Central cities can better lead the symbiotic development of towns and rural areas in typical counties of rural tourism, and the Yangtze River Delta has formed a county town-countryside symbiotic development spatial pattern with Shanghai,Hangzhou,Ningbo and Nanjing as the core and radiating around.3)The symbiotic evolution between new-type urbanization and rural common prosperity in typical counties of rural tourism is affected by multiple factors.Gap narrowing of urban-rural income and tourism resource endowment are not absolute promoting factors, but economic development level, tourism market scale, tourism talent construction and moderate government regulation and control ability can play a significant role in promoting the symbiotic evolution between new-type urbanization and rural common prosperity.
