Regular Change of Total Phospholipids,Selenium,Phosphorus,Reducing Sugar and Total Sugar in Velvet of Northeast Sika Deer during Growth Period
This experiment aims to study the regular change of total phospholipid, selenium, phosphorus, total sugar and reducing sugar in the velvet of northeast sika deer during the growing period.Eighteen northeast sika deer in the same antler growth period were divided into six treatments based on the time of antler discaling, which were(30±3)d,(40±3)d,(50±3)d,(60±3)d,(70±3)d and(75±3)d,respectively.The content of total phospholipid, selenium, phosphorus, total sugar and reducing sugar were determined. The results showed that the selenium content in velvet antler of northeast sika deer increased at first and then decreased during the growing period.Phosphorus and total sugar contents increased gradually with time. The content of total phospholipid showed little change with the increase of time. The reducing sugar content increased at first and then decreased gradually, while the total sugar content increased gradually. The results indicated that the contents of selenium, phosphorus, reducing sugar and total sugar varied during a period of antler growth, which would provide reference for the utilization and development of functional food for sika deer.
