The release and implementation of national standard Nutrient Requirements of Deer(GB/T 41190-2021)filled the blank of no national standard in antler deer breeding in our country,it indicates that our country has made a great breakthrough in the research of antler deer feeding management and nutrient requirement,and it is of great significance to our country's deer breeding.In this paper,the background and significance of the standard,the scope of the standard and the characteristics of the nutritional needs of deer were summarized in order to help the standard to be better implemented.
