How Supply Chain Configuration Can Ease Enterprise Digital Transformation Dilemmas
The digital technology revolution has had a profound impact on promoting industrial innovation and thus fostering new momentum,and has gradually become the key to China's high-quality development and Chinese-style modernization.As an important part of economic development,the digital transformation of enterprises is the key to promoting the development of the digital economy.It provides technological drive and industrial impetus for the development of digital industry,and thus gradually becomes an inevitable requirement for cultivating new quality productivity.However,due to the high-risk and low-yield characteristics of digitalization,enterprises face multiple problems in the process of digital transformation,and how to alleviate the plight of enterprises in digital transformation has become the primary problem to be solved to cultivate new dynamic energy.With the deepening of cooperation among supply chain enterprises,more and more enterprises learn new knowledge and technology in the process of communication with upstream and downstream suppliers and customers.Theoretically,the cooperation between supply chain enterprises will form complementary advantages to achieve the overall development of the optimal,and then form a spillover effect to provide kinetic energy for the development of transformation.In order to solve their own digital transformation dilemma,enterprises will change the closed development thinking through diversified supply chain configuration,further extend the focus to the supply chain,and obtain digital transformation resources through extensive participation in upstream and downstream production and operation activities.Therefore,it is of great significance to discuss the impact of supply chain configuration optimization on digital transformation.In order to verify the above viewpoints,this paper examines the impact of supply chain configuration on enterprises'digital transformation dilemma and its role mechanism from the perspective of upstream and downstream synergy of enterprise supply chain at the micro level with the help of the data of listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen A-shares from 2012 to 2022.It is found that the multiple configurations of enterprise supply chain significantly inhibit their own digital transformation dilemma,and mainly play a role by enhancing organizational resilience and internal control quality to form an organizational change channel as well as promoting digital technology innovation and digital-real technology integration to form a technological change channel.Heterogeneity analysis shows that factors such as enterprise strategy,property right nature and industry characteristics will lead to significant gaps in the mitigation effect of supply chain multi-allocation on digital transformation difficulties.Based on the above findings,this paper puts forward the following three suggestions.First,governments at all levels should take strengthening enterprise synergistic relationships as an important hand to guide enterprises to diversify the configuration of supply chain relationships to prevent them from falling into digital transformation dilemmas.Second,enterprise decision-making should be targeted,forward-looking layout of the supply chain relationship in advance,give full play to the transformative potential of the supply chain configuration,and build effective organizational optimization and technological innovation strategies.Third,the long-term mechanism of government-enterprise communication should be broadened to solve the digital transformation dilemma and help enterprises resist the structural risks of digital transformation.The contributions of this paper are as follows.First,from the perspective of the micro enterprise reveals the impact of supply chain configuration on the enterprise digital transformation dilemma,this paper demonstrates the effect of rational configuration of supply chain relationship on digital dilemma,to provide theoretical reference for the subsequent study of the development of enterprise digital transformation and dilemma;second,constructed the enterprise digital transformation dilemma measurement index,the introduction of the concept of expectation bias embodies the existence of enterprise digital transformation dilemma,to provide ideas for assessment of digital transformation to provide ideas;third,the mechanism of supply chain configuration to alleviate the enterprise digital transformation dilemma is analyzed from the perspectives of organizational change and technological change,and the black box of enterprise supply chain configuration and digital transformation is opened.
