Comparison and Review of Economic History Research on Puppet Manchukuo and Vichy France
Manchukuo and Vichy France are both dependent puppet regime in World War Ⅱ,whose economic development and plunder deserve to compare with each other,while the related academic researches are also fruit-ful.Based on the comparison between the economic history researches on Vichy France and Manchukuo,it is found that their historical perspectives both experienced a process from criticism,avoidance up to face-up.The difference is that the research on the economic history of Vichy France has begun to conduct quantitative analysis of the pup-pet regime and Germany's economic plunder through econometrics,while the research on the economic history of the Puppet Manchukuo is in the transition period from historical interpretation to economic quantification,the re-search involving industry finance and business operations still needs to be carried out,and the specific research paths are also quite different from the former.Understanding and learning from the research paths and methods of Vichy French economic history can better develop the economic research in occupied area in China's period of the war of Resistance Against Japan.
