Transportation Infrastructure and Industrial Green Transformation:Mechanism Analysis and Empirical Evidence

摘要
传统工业依靠粗放型增长模式,导致经济发展与生态环境无法平衡,工业绿色转型就是要实现发展绩效与环境绩效的双赢.文章基于2008-2019年中国省际面板数据,采用固定效应回归模型,实证检验交通基础设施建设对工业绿色转型的机制与路径.研究表明:交通基础设施显著促进我国工业绿色转型;工业规模化、人才集聚和技术集聚在交通基础设施与工业绿色转型的关系中起中介作用,并且交通基础设施对技术集聚的中介路径受到环境规制的正向调节;交通基础设施对工业绿色转型的影响存在区域异质性,在经济发达的区域交通基础设施对工业绿色转型的影响正向显著,在经济不发达的区域则其影响不显著.
Abstract
Traditional industry relies on a crude growth model,resulting in an inability to balance economic de-velopment and the ecological environment.Industrial green transformation is to realize the win-win situation be-tween development performance and environmental performance.Based on China's inter-provincial panel data from 2008 to 2019,this paper empirically examines the mechanism and path of transportation infrastructure construction on industrial green transformation using a fixed-effects regression model.The study shows that:Transportation infra-structure significantly promotes the green transformation of industry in China;industrial scale,talents agglomera-tion;and technology agglomeration mediate the relationship between transportation infrastructure and green transfor-mation of industry,and the mediating path of transportation infrastructure on technology agglomeration is positively moderated by environmental regulations;there is regional heterogeneity in the impact of transportation infrastructure on the green transformation of industry,in which transportation infrastructure has a positive and significant impact on the green transformation of industry in economically developed regions while that non-significant in economical-ly underdeveloped regions.
