Research on Motivation and Influencing Mechanisms of Employee Brand Advocacy Behaviors in Highly Starred Hotels——Taking Top-Tier Cities as the Example
This study applied social exchange theory to explain the influence of internal communication factors on social media employee advocacy through employee engagement from the perspectives of employees of Chinese ho-tels.This study involved full-time employees of five-star hotels in four top-tier cities in China.The findings showed a significant positive effect of transformational leadership and supervisor-subordinate relations on employee engage-ment and social media employee advocacy,and a partial mediating role of employee engagement in the relation be-tween transformational leadership and social media employee advocacy.Furthermore,engaged younger employees and male employees have stronger intentions to advocate on social media than older and female employees.
