The Impact of Digital Economy on the Modernization Development Level of Industrial Chain——An Empirical Analysis Based on the Provincial Development in China
This paper constructs an evaluation index system for digital economy and industrial chain moderniza-tion from the dimensions of digital infrastructure,digital industrialization,industrial digitization and industrial chain innovation,formation of high-end industrial chain,industrial chain greening,etc..Based on this,the panel data from the provincial administrative regions in China from 2012 to 2021 are selected to conduct an empirical analysis of the mechanism of the digital economy 's impact on the modernization development level of the industrial chain,as well as such characteristics as heterogeneity and robustness by comprehensively using entropy method,fixed ef-fect model,intermediary effect model,etc..The research shows that the digital economy has a robust significant posi-tive correlation with the modernization level of the industrial chain,and relies on digital infrastructure,digital indus-trialization,industrial digitization,etc.to promote the modernization level of the industrial chain.At the same time,the impact of the digital economy on the modernization development of the industrial chains in various regions shows a clear heterogeneity characteristic of"central collapse".
