Based on the time series data of age structure,urban and rural structure,gender structure,education structure,marriage structure and commercial health insurance density from 1997 to 2020,this paper constructs SV AR model and uses the method of impulse response analysis to explore the dynamic relationship between the Chi-nese age structure and the commercial health insurance consumption of residents.The results show that:There is a long-term equilibrium relationship between the age structure,urban and rural structure,gender structure,education structure,marriage structure and commercial health insurance consumption in China;the age structure has a posi-tive effect in the short term and a significant inhibition on the growth of commercial health insurance consumption in the long term,while gender structure is opposite;the urban and rural structure,education structure and marriage structure have positive effects on the whole,and negative effects in a particular period.
