As the climate type of the transitional belt from warm temperate zone to sub-tropic, Anhui Province is not only suitable distribution areas, but also the north-fringe region for Camellia oleifera. There is difficult to make policy for oil-tea planter in some north-fringe areas. In order to provide a basis for oil-tea cultivation at Jianghuai Region of Anhui, the climatological characterisitics, oil-tea resources distribution status, selection and breeding of fine varieties, and introduction and cultivation, agronomy characteristics and development prospect in Jianghuai Region were discussed.
