Seed breeding techniques in Phyllostachys pubescens
In order to get the best seed breeding method in Phyllostachys pubescens,effects of different seed storage,sowing in different seasons,and different breeding methods on seed breeding in P.pubescens were researched.The results show that germination rate of the seeds stored in sand is higher than that of the seeds refrigerated with bag film,the autumn sowing seedlings have more tiller times,and seedling rate through dense sowing seedling transplanting is higher than that through container seedling transplanting.
