Effects of spraying PBO on fruit quality in Korla Fragrant Pear during flowering phase
To understand effects of PBO on fruit quality in Korla Fragrant Pear,taking 15-year-old Korla Fragrant Pear as materials,different concentrations (200 times,300 times and 400 times) of PBO were sprayed at early flowering stage,full flowering stage and flower falling stage,and effects of spraying PBO on rate of fruit with prominent top and fruit quality in Korla Fragrant Pear.The results show that spraying PBO can improve comprehensive quality in Korla Fragrant Pear,reduce rate of fruit with prominent top,improve fruit shape,and increase sugar content.Rate of fruit with prominent top in PBO treatments is significantly lower than CK.Rate of fruit with prominent top is the lowest (18.84%) in spraying 300 times PBO treatment at full flowering stage,average single fruit mass is up to 114.03 g,fruit hardness is 12.9 kg·cm-2,sugar content is up to 12.08%,fruit shape index is 1.09,and those are better than CK.
