Effect of plant growth regulators on endogenous hormones content of vase period in cut Lily flowers
Oriental Lily'Siberia'was used as a test material,to treat cut flowers with plant growth regulators to study the effect of endogenous hormone content during the vase period. The results showed that:(1) In the early stage of vase (Day 2 to Day 6),the content of endogenous IAA rose first and then decreased;after 6 days of vase time, the endogenous hormones IAA in petals showed only an upward trend except CK.(2) 40 mg·L16-BA treated lily increased the content of ABA in lily petals during vase,160 mg·L-16-BA treatment enhanced the trend of JA content in petals of cut lily flowers, and the appropriate concentration 6-BA and JA appeared to be synergistic.(3) Exogenous GA3 treatment significantly increased the content of endogenous GA3 in petals of cut lily flowers.GA3 treatment slowed the change of ABA content in petals during flowering, and GA3 and ABA showed antagonistic effects.(4) Exogenous ABA treatment of cut flowers significantly increased the endogenous ABA content in petals of cut flowers. The change trend of JA content in Lily petals was consistent with the change trend of ABA content.
