Quality performance and cold resistance of 10 table grape varieties in Lanzhou of Gansu province
[Objective]To select new grape varieties with good quality and cold resistance suitable for the development of Lanzhou and the same type of climate regions in Gansu province.[Method]Ten table grape varieties of'Chunguang''Guifeimeigui''Jumeigui''Miguang''Wanhei Bao''Seedless Cuibao''Langmanhongyan''Shine muscat''Jinghongbao''SP9715'were introduced as the research objects,the main quality indicators,such as single berry mass,single bunch mass,aroma,soluble solid content,soluble sugar content,titratable acid content,sugar-acid ratio and vitamin C content,were analyzed and evaluated,the relative electrical conductivity,soluble sugar content,soluble protein content,proline content and malondialdehyde content of dormant branches of 1-year-old were determined after low temperature stress,the semi-lethal temperatures of ten varieties were obtained by fitting the relative conductivity of ten varieties under different low temperature treatments with Logistic equation.The fruit quality and branch cold resistance of different varieties were evaluated by principal component analysis.[Result]With the decrease of temperature,the relative electrical conductivity,the content of soluble protein and the content of proline in the branches of ten table grape varieties increased gradually,and the change of the content of soluble sugar was different,the content of malondialdehyde showed a trend of increasing gradually.Among ten varieties,'Shine muscat'had the lowest semi-lethal temperature(-22.38℃),followed by'Langmanhongyan'and'Chunguang',with the semi-lethal temperature(-21.96 and-20.75℃)respectively.The semi-lethal temperature of'Wanhei Bao'was the highest(-18.94℃).[Conclusion]In Lanzhou area of Gansu province,according to the results of comprehensive evaluation of fruit quality and cold resistance,the ten varieties were ranked in a decreased order as'Miguang''Shine muscat''Chunguang''Jumeigui''SP9715''Guifeimeigui''Jinghongbao''Seedless Cuibao''Wanhei Bao''Langmanhongyan'.
