Performance of fruit quality of nine pear varieties in Linzhi city
[Objective]To screen pear varieties suitable for cultivation in Linzhi city and provide reference for pear planting in Linzhi city.[Method]9 pear varieties introduced in 2016 were selected as research objects,and the fruit appearance quality was evaluated by single fruit mass,fruit shape index,fruit core ratio,stalk length,fruit firmness and pulp density,and the internal quality was evaluated by vitamin C content,stone cell content,soluble solid content,soluble sugar content and titrable acid content.Statistics of the yield of various varieties was conducted.[Result]The single fruit mass of 9 pear varieties was 116.70-277.19 g,fruit shape index was 0.75-0.93,fruit core ratio was 31.84%-44.60%,stem length was 15.57-31.20 mm,and hardness was 9.84-13.04 kg/cm2.Flesh density was 0.96-1.07 g/mL,vitamin C content was 25.63-42.23 mg/kg,stone cell content was 0.23%-0.86%,soluble solid content was 10.23%-12.13%,soluble sugar content was 3.79%-8.84% .The titrable acid content was 0.17%-0.32%,the sugar-acid ratio was 14.33-55.30,the plant yield was 4.91-14.86 kg,and the yield per unit area was 4 094.17-12 379.91 kg/hm2.[Conclusion]Nanyue,Zhongliyihao,Cuiguan,Wanqiuhuang,Huangguan,Huangjin,Huashan and Cuiyu were suitable for cultivation in Linzhi city.Among them,Zhongliyihao and Cuiguan performed well,Nanyue,Wanqiuhuang,Huangguan,Huangjin and Huashan performed well,while Chuxialv varieties performed poorly overall.These varieties showed better comprehensive performance in terms of fruit quality,which could meet the needs of Linzhi city residents for high-quality pear fruits.In pear tree planting,these varieties can be given priority.
