Characteristics of Lista coreana var.sinensis leaf and its relationships with environmental factors in Guizhou province
[Objective]Research on plant phenotypic traits and their influencing factors could provide a theoretical basis for revealing the survival preference of species to the specific habitats and artificial cultivation.[Method]Five natural populations of Lista coreana var.sinensis were selected as the research objects in Guizhou province,China. The representative individuals'leaves were collected for measuring their apparent parameters, and then their sections were made to observe and determine the anatomical parameters.Meanwhile, the data of environmental factors were collected, and the characteristics of leaf phenotypic variation and its influencing factors were analyzed by ANOVA and correlation analysis.[Result]The leaves of Kaiyang and Xishui populations were wider, and the variation among the populations(48.48%)was greater than that within the populations(27.19%).L.coreana var.sinensis was a typical heterofacial leaf. The leaf anatomical structure of Kaiyang population was the most developed. There were significant variations(69.55%)in leaf anatomical parameters among five populations. The leaf phenotypic and anatomical parameters were significantly correlated with many environmental factors, which principal component analysis showed that the explanations of environmental factors were 82.70%and 81.56%,respectively.Meanwhile,temperature and precipitation were the main factors affecting leaf phenotypic parameters.[Conclusion]The kaiyang population should be selected for resource conservation and artificial breeding, and artificial cultivation is suitable for areas with sufficient rainfall and high temperature.
