Effects of different concentrations of phosphorus fertilizer on growth and nutrient contents of 2-year-old Camellia oleifera seedlings
[Objective]To explore the most suitable exogenous concentration of phosphate fertilizer for 2-year-old grafted seedlings of Camellia oleifera, and to provide reference for fertilization of C.oleifera.[Method]Using 2-year-old grafted seedlings of the C.oleifera'Ganwu 2'variety as the test material, with four concentrations of phosphate fertilizer P0(control),P1(30 mmol/L),P2(60 mmol/L)and P3(90 mmol/L).Each treatment was repeated three times, three plants were repeated each time,a total of 36 plants, and 10 plants in each treatment were recorded separately for plant height and ground diameter,a total of 76 plants. The fertilization time was early April, early May and early July, and the sampling time was early May,early July and early September, respectively. The contents of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other nutrients, plant height, ground diameter, dry weight and main root length of C.oleifera seedlings were measured.[Result]With the increase of phosphate fertilizer concentration, the plant height of seedlings showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing slowly in May,a stable trend in July, and a trend of increasing first, then decreasing and then increasing slowly in September;Under P1 treatment, the ground diameter of seedlings increased by 2.45 mm compared with P0 treatment, and the growth of ground diameter of C.oleifera was promoted, but with the increase of fertilization concentration, the growth of ground diameter was inhibited.Under P1 treatment, the main root length reached the maximum, which was 55.73%higher than that of the control group;Under P2 treatment, the dry mass of stems increased significantly, which was 9.02%higher than that of the control group;Under P1 treatment, the dry mass of leaves reached the maximum, which was 27.32%higher than that of the control group.Under P3 treatment, the phosphorus content in roots and leaves reached the highest, which increased by 18.90%and 6.69%compared with the control group. With the increase of phosphorus concentration, the phosphorus content in stems decreased first and then increased gradually;Under P3 treatment, the soluble starch content in leaves reached the peak in September, which was 20.43%higher than that of P0,and the soluble sugar content in leaves was the highest in May,which was 7.68%higher than that of P0.There was a significant positive correlation between phosphorus application level and soluble starch content(P<0.05),there was a significant negative correlation between soluble starch content and leaf dry mass, and a significant positive correlation between leaf dry mass and plant height and main root length.[Conclusion]Each treatment was ranked from high to low according to the plant height of C.oleifera seedlings in September, followed by P1,P0,P3 and P2.Under P1 treatment, the ground diameter reached the peak and the leaf dry mass was the largest;Under P2 treatment, the stem mass of the plant was the largest, but the ground diameter index was the smallest;Under P3 treatment, the soluble sugar content reached the peak in September, and the soluble starch content was the smallest in May.In summary,it is more appropriate to apply 30 mmol/L phosphate fertilizer to 2-year-old C.oleifera seedlings.
