Spatiotemporal Evolution,Regional Differences and Convergence of Agricultural Product Circulation Efficiency in China
The agricultural product circulation market is related to whether the supply and demand of agricul-tural products can be effectively connected, and its construction and efficiency level will directly affect China's food security and the completion of a unified national market. This paper uses the entropy method to measure the circulation efficiency of agricultural products in 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2022,and analyzes the spatio-temporal evolution, regional differences and convergence of agricultural product circulation efficiency by using Mo-ran's I,kernel density estimation,Markov chain,Dagum Gini coefficient and σ and β convergence models. The re-sults showed that there was a significant positive spatial correlation between the circulation efficiency of agricultur-al products in China during the study period, and the characteristics of"high-high"agglomeration and"low-low"agglomeration were obvious. The width of the kernel density curve became larger, showing a bimodal pattern with obvious right tailing and height difference, indicating that the circulation efficiency of agricultural products was gradually improved, and there was a polarization trend in the region. The spatial lag level of neighboring provinces has a great impact on the circulation efficiency of agricultural products in the province to maintain the original state or develop to a higher level.Regional differences are the main reasons for the significant differences in the overall circulation efficiency of agricultural products. There is no σ convergence in the circulation efficiency of agri-cultural products, but there is a significant convergence of absolute β and conditional convergence β.Accordingly, this paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions on how to improve the circulation efficiency of agricultural prod-ucts and narrow the gap between regions.
