The Measurement,Spatial-temporal Evolution and Dynamic Spatial Convergence of China's High-quality Economic Development Level
In this paper,we measure the high-quality development index of China's economy based on the Five Major Development Concepts by using the"Vertical and Horizontal"Scatter Degree method, and explore the characteristics of its spatial-temporal evolution and dynamic spatial convergence.Research findings:Chinas high-quality economic development shows a good trend on the whole, but it is still at a low level, the innovation development index is the smallest among the five dimensions. In addition to the increasing gap in the level of high-quality economic development in the western region, the national level and the other three regions showed the different characteristics of a"rising level, narrowing gap",with such differences mainly originating from inter-regional disparities;and provinces with higher level of re-gional development always maintain a leading advantage, and there are different degrees of polarization in the country, central and Northeast regions. The high-quality development of the national economy has ob-vious spatial convergence characteristics of absolute β and conditional β dynamic; In the region respect, there are both absolute β and conditional β dynamic spatial convergence features in eastern and northeastern regions, while only conditionalβ dynamic spatial convergence features exist in central region. The re-search of this paper provides suggestions for reducing regional differences reasonably and promoting high-quality and rapid economic development.
