Research on the Influence of Digital Financial Inclusion on the Credit Availability of Part-time Farming Households——Empirical Research Based on CFPS Microdata
With the promotion of the rural industry revitalization strategy, the trend of farmer differ-entiation gradually appeared, and part-time farming households became the mainstream group of rural in-novation and entrepreneurship for industrial development. In recent years, the development of digital in-clusive finance has provided an opportunity to improve the credit availability of farming households.How-ever,whether and how it can affect the credit availability of part-time farming households remains un-clear.This paper empirically examined the impact of digital financial inclusion on the credit availability of part-time farming households and its mechanism using the data from China Family Panel Studies(CFPS).The results showed that digital financial inclusion significantly promoted the credit availability of part-time farming households. The mechanism test found that income diversity and social interaction had an interme-diary effect on the promotion of credit availability of part-time farming households through digital inclusive finance. The heterogeneity test found regional heterogeneity and part-time degree heterogeneity in the pro-motion of credit availability of part-time farming households by digital inclusive finance, and the promotion effect was most significant for the central and western regions and deep part-time farming households. The research conclusions help to clarify the internal mechanism of digital inclusive finance affecting the credit a-vailability of part-time farming households, and have important theoretical and practical significance for promoting the balanced development of digital inclusive finance, enhancing the credit availability of main-stream farmers, and thus realizing rural revitalization.
