The Impact of Intelligent Transformation in the Circulation Industry on Urban Green Economic Efficiency
Promoting the intelligent development of the distribution industry emerges as a potent strat-egy for manufacturing sectors to fulfill their environmental responsibilities within the framework of the digital economy,consequently bolstering urban green transformation and sustainable progress.This study system-atically delves into the influence of intelligence within the distribution industry on urban green economic ef-ficiency,drawing upon data samples spanning 285 cities in China from 2002 to 2022.The findings eluci-date that the infusion of intelligence into the distribution industry markedly enhances urban green economic efficiency,with a more pronounced effect observed in regions characterized by stringent environmental reg-ulations and nascent economies.Notably resilient to adverse macroeconomic factors,this impact exhibits substantial developmental potential in response to positive macroeconomic influences.The mechanistic analysis underscores the pivotal role of online lifestyle shifts among residents,augmented urban green tech-nology innovation capabilities,and the ecological revamping of urban industrial structures as effective con-duits through which the intelligence of the distribution industry shapes the demand,supply,and environ-mental dynamics governing urban green economic efficiency.The research findings offer a theoretical foun-dation and empirical backing for ameliorating market cycles and aiding cities in aligning economic objec-tives with environmental conservation goals.
