Cross-regional Government Procurement and Enterprise Internationalization
This paper uses the actual data of A-share listed companies to obtain cross-regional government purchase or-ders in 2015-2019 to study the influence of cross-regional government procurement on the international development of enter-prises,and tests the two controversial theoretical viewpoints of"system escape theory"and"system promotion theory",which ex-plain the causes of the international development of enterprises.The results show that cross-regional government procurement significantly promotes the internationalization development of enterprises and supports the hypothesis of"system promotion theory".Relying on the advantages of market institutional environment optimization and policy function,cross-regional govern-ment procurement supports the internationalization of enterprises mainly by improving production efficiency,promoting innova-tion and upgrading,and stabilizing business performance.Cross-regional government procurement promotes the internationaliza-tion of enterprises based on the development level of domestic factor market,which is significantly restricted by the development dependence of international factor market,and needs a good international and regional cooperation environment.Strengthening cross-regional government procurement is of great practical significance for accelerating the strategy of expanding domestic de-mand and giving full play to the advantages of the super-large market.
