Platform Economy and New Employment Forms:Development Status,Influence Mechanism and Safeguard Measures
The development of platform economy has injected new vitality into the economic system.Relying on modem in-formation technology such as the Internet,it has constructed a decentralized and disintermediated business model,reshaped the forms of production and consumption,and accelerated the evolution of new employment forms.Based on the characteristics and development status of new employment forms under the platform economy,this paper analyzes the mechanism behind the plat-form economy's influence on new employment forms,highlighting the key role of scale effect and substitution effect in it,and ex-panding the understanding of the mechanism of the evolution of new employment forms.From the perspective of political economy,this paper analyzes the necessity and challenges of guaranteeing the development of new employment forms under the platform economy.On this basis,it is proposed that relevant policies should be improved in terms of perfecting the regulatory sys-tem,optimizing the social security system,strengthening regulation and governance,promoting education and skills training,and enhancing the social class identity of workers in new employment forms,with a view to providing theoretical and policy refer-ences for better promoting the development of the platform economy.
