Research on the Mechanism of Promoting Common Prosperity Through the Development of Digital Economy:From the Empirical Evidence of Labor Market
An in-depth examination of the role of the digital economy in achieving common prosperity is a key aspect of accelerating the realization of Chinese-style modernization.Using labor market data to test the influence mechanism of the digital economy to boost the process of China's common prosperity,and the differential influence of digital economy in different stages of development on the process of China's common prosperity.The results show that the development of the digital economy can significantly promote the process of common prosperity in China,and there is regional heterogeneity,which shows that the development of the digital economy in the east-ern and western regions of China has a particularly significant effect on the process of common prosperity in the region.The mechanism analysis and further test results show that the upgrading of labor skills has an intermediary effect in the process of promoting common prosperity through the development of the digital economy,and when the development of the digital economy reaches a certain thresh-old,the positive impact of the upgrading of labor skills on the process of common prosperity in China will be enhanced.
