The Impact of Entrepreneurial Learning on Product Innovation Efficiency and Efficacy
A theoretical model of entrepreneurial learning affecting product innovation performance through resource bricolage and re-source optimization was constructed based on the resource bricolage theory and resource-based theory. The study tested the data from 241 enterprise questionnaires using structural equation modeling and fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis. The results showed that:(1)Entrepreneurial learning has a positive impact on the efficiency and efficacy of product innovation.(2)Entrepreneurial learning improves product innovation efficiency through resource bricolage and improves both efficiency and efficacy through resource optimization. However,it cannot enhance product innovation efficacy through resource bricolage.(3)The balancing effect of resource bricolage and resource optimization have a positive impact on product innovation efficiency and efficacy, while the multiplicative effect is insignificant;when resource bricolage and resource optimization are in a non-equilibrium state, enhancing either resource bricolage or resource optimization can positively affect product innovation efficiency and efficacy.(4)The qualitative comparative analysis iden-tifies two antecedent configurations that affect the efficiency and efficacy of product innovation.
