County-Level Cooperation Mechanism for Promoting Modernization of Agricultural and Rural Areas
The modernization of agriculture and rural areas is an inevitable requirement for building up China's strength in agriculture.The joint efforts from multiple sectors are needed to promote rural revitaliza-tion and advance both material and cultural progress.The practice of coordinating the efforts from multiple sec-tors to promote the modernization of agriculture and rural areas in Suixian county,Henan province can be taken as a representative.Specifically,the various professional cooperatives composed of farmers were orga-nized into town cooperatives,which were then organized into a county-level cooperative.The modern agricul-tural industrial park established by the cooperatives and the government,as well as modern agricultural enter-prises,jointly participate in agricultural and rural production and operation activities.The mechanism of coor-dinating joint efforts to promote the modernization of agriculture and rural areas in Suixian county involves multiple aspects,such as the interest linkage,technology application,eco-friendly production,and industrial integration.To acclimatize the practice of modernization of agriculture and rural areas to the essential require-ments of Chinese path to modernization,we should give full play to the leading role of party members and cad-res at all levels and the master role of rural laboring masses,and flexibly coordinate the efforts of all parties.In addition,the rural collectives led by the Party should play their roles in the multiple mechanisms.
