Giving priority to agricultural and rural development and accelerating agricultural and rural mod-ernization are the only way to build a strong agricultural country.Common prosperity is the logical starting point of agricultural and rural modernization;development reflects the internal consistency of historical logic and theoretical logic of agricultural and rural modernization,and reform is the practical logic of agricultural and rural modernization.Entering the new stage of development,laterally,China's agricultural and rural mod-ernization presents the characteristics of scope broadening,which is manifested by the continuous extension of the border of agricultural and rural modernization to cities and towns,the expansion of agricultural and rural infrastructure construction to new infrastructure,and the intelligent and green transformation of agricultural development mode;vertically,the content is increasingly deepening,which is manifested as the transformation of agricultural development from quantity expansion to quality and efficiency improvement,the transformation of separate agricultural and rural development to coordinated development,and the transformation of produc-tion mode from extensive development to conformal development.To promote agricultural and rural moderniza-tion,the country should not only focus on agriculture itself.It is necessary to adhere to the leadership of the Communist Party of China,promote the flow of high-quality factors in the integrated development of urban and rural areas,establish a new type of urban-rural relationship,develop new quality productivity in agricultural and rural areas,and accelerate the green transformation of agriculture,so as to form a more competitive and high-quality agricultural and rural modernization development pattern.
