The third plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China pro-poses that high-quality development is the primary task for comprehensively building a modern socialist coun-try.Systems thinking is one of the worldviews and methodologies of Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.The systems thinking emphasizes forward thinking,overall planning,and coordinated promotion,being a comprehensive scientific thinking method.To lead high-quality economic development with systems thinking,efforts should be made from three aspects.Firstly,forward-looking think-ing and bottom line thinking should be underscored in leading high-quality economic development.Secondly,overall planning should be adopted to drive high-quality economic development by strategic thinking.Thirdly,coordinated promotion should be employed in high-quality economic development with holistic thinking.Only by adhering to systems thinking can we grasp the overall situation of economic development,coordinate eco-nomic policies,and respond to changes in the external environment,thus achieving Chinese modernization with high-quality economic development.
