The Development Model and Inspiration of Undergraduate Vocational Education in Developed Countries
Developing undergraduate and even master's and doctoral level vocational education is an inevitable re-quirement for timely adaptation to economic and social development and industrial upgrading.The formation of different undergraduate vocational education development models in Germany,the United Kingdom,Japan,and the United States is the result of the continuous upward shift in the level of vocational education development.Through a historical review and current investigation of developed countries with distinctive characteristics in the development of undergrad-uate vocational education,it can be concluded that due to significant differences in political,economic,social,and cultural development levels among different countries,there are different models in developing undergraduate vocational education,such as upgrading,newly establishing,integrating and splitting.In terms of the current development of un-dergraduate vocational education in China,it is necessary to give full play to the important functions of the government and make top-level planning;Improve the relevant degree system and weaken the label effect;Focusing on talent cul-tivation and promoting skill development;Explore diverse development models and adhere to diversified education.
