A Comparative Study on the Effective Ingredient Content of Three Main Artemisia argyi Leaf Varieties Planted in Northern Jiangxi
By measuring and comparing the content of the main active ingredients in the leaves of three Artemisia argyi varieties planted in northern Jiangxi,including Nanyang Artemisia argyi,Qichun Artemisia argyi,and wild Arte-misia argyi,it was found that Qichun Artemisia argyi had the highest content of total flavonoids,total polyphenols,un-adsorbed polyphenols,tannins,and total triterpenes.Specifically,the total flavonoid content of Qichun Artemisia argyi is 1.269 and 1.555 times higher than that of Nanyang Artemisia argyi and wild Artemisia argyi,the tannin content is 2.029 and 3.073 times higher than that of Nanyang Artemisia argyi and wild Artemisia argyi,the volatile oil content is 0.967 and 1.405 times higher than that of Nanyang Artemisia argyi and wild Artemisia argyi,and the triterpenoid con-tent is 1.184 and 1.091 times higher than that of Nanyang Artemisia argyi and wild Artemisia argyi.The volatile oil content of Nanyang Artemisia and Qichun Artemisia is significantly higher than that of wild Artemisia argyi,and there is no significant difference between themselves.
