Survey of Chronic Disease Prevention and Control Literacy and Influencing Factors Among Residents in a County of Chongqing in 2022
Objective To understand the level and influencing factors of the chronic disease prevention and control literacy in Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing.Methods Using a stratified multi-stage random sampling method,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 482 residents aged 15-69 in the entire county.Results The level of health literacy of chronic disease prevention and control in Pengshui Autonomous County was 37.14%.Among the questions related to chronic disease prevention literacy knowledge,"the benefits of eating soybean products such as tofu and soymilk"was the lowest(55.39%).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age,education level,and self-rated health status were the influencing factors of residents'chronic disease prevention and control literacy.Conclusion The population aged 45-69 and those with primary school education or below in Pengshui County have lower levels of chronic disease prevention and control literacy,and were the key population of chronic disease health education.
