Analysis on the Health Status of Primary and Secondary School Students in Jinze Town of Shanghai from 2019 to 2022
Objective To understand the health status and changing trend of primary and middle school students in Jinze Town of Qingpu District in Shanghai from 2019 to 2022,and to provide the evidence for the prevention and treatment of common diseases among primary and middle school students.Methods The physical examination data of 2 848 primary and middle school students in Jinze Town from 2019 to 2022 were collected,and the detection of common diseases and the trend of changes in the past four years were analyzed.Results The top 5 diseases with high detection rates among primary and middle school students in Jinze Town from 2019 to 2022 were visual impairment(50.2%),dental caries(42.4%),obesity(25.6%),anemia(11.4%),and scoliosis(2.7%).Among them,the detection rates of dental caries and anemia were decreasing,while the detection rates of poor vision,obesity,and scoliosis were increasing;the detection rates of poor vision,anemia,and scoliosis in middle school students were higher than those in elementary school students(P<0.05),and the detection rate of dental caries in elementary school students was higher than that in middle school students(P<0.05);the detection rates of poor vision and scoliosis in girls were higher than those in boys(P<0.05),while the detection rates of dental caries,obesity,and anemia in boys were higher than those in girls(P<0.05).Conclusion The detection rate of common diseases among primary and middle school students in Jinze Town is high,and the health status can not be ignored.It is urgent to implement comprehensive health intervention.
