Objective To understand the epidemiological characteristics of edible wild mushroom poisoning incidents,provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of wild mushroom poisoning in the future.Methods The incidents of wild mushroom poisoning reported by the Foodborne Disease Outbreak Reporting System in Mengla County from 2020 to 2022 were described and analyzed.Results A total of 18 cases of wild mushroom poisoning were reported,including 61 cases of poisoning and 0 cases of death.From May to August,the number of reported poisoning cases and the number of people peaked,accounting for 83.33%and 83.61%of the total number,respectively.The poisoning hazard level of edible wild mushrooms in rural areas was more serious,accounting for 77.78%of the incidents and 81.97%of the poisoning number.Rural families were the highest incidence places of poisoning from eating wild mushrooms,accounting for 77.78%of the total reports.Only 31.15%of the patients with wild mushroom poisoning had taken self-rescue measures,and the median time between the onset of poisoning and seeking medical treatment was 2 hours.Conclusion Self-picking and improper processing were the main factors of wild mushroom poisoning.Before the high incidence season,early warning should be combined with the prevention and control strategies and measures under the new situation,and monitoring and science popularization education should be strengthened for the high incidence areas and places.
