Analysis on the Level and Influencing Factors of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Culture Literacy of Residents of Qingyuan in 2022
Objective To understand the current situation of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)health culture literacy of residents in Qingyuan City,and to provide the basis for formulating relevant strategies and measures.Methods A total of 5 116 people in the city were selected by simple random sampling,PPS sampling,cluster stratified,and KISH table,and was conducted a research by the self-designed electronic questionnaire.Results The total level of TCM health literacy of residents in Qingyuan of 2022 was 17.33%;the health literacy levels of basic concepts,cultural knowledge,information understanding ability,healthy lifestyles,and public appropriate ways were 42.22%,25.62%,25.01%,23.90%and 7.86%,respectively.Education level,occupation,family population,and annual income were the main factors that affect the level of residents'TCM health literacy(P<0.05).Conclusion The overall level of TCM health literacy of Qingyuan residents is low.It is necessary to further promote TCM health care methods,and strengthen the popularization of TCM health knowledge and skills for low-income families,low education population,the elderly,and manual workers.
