Analysis of Health Literacy Level and Influencing Factors of Residents in a District of Kunming in 2023
Objective To understand the health literacy level of residents in Chenggong District of Kunming and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide the scientific basis for formulating targeted health literacy intervention strategies.Methods A survey was conducted among 1 611 permanent residents aged 15-69 in 8 streets of the whole district by multi-stage stratified sampling.Results In 2023,the level of health literacy of residents in Chenggong was 31.1%,with basic knowledge and concept literacy(38.9%)being the highest in three aspects,and safety and first aid(53.6%)being the highest in six types of problems.There were statistically signifinant differences in the health liferacy levels of the residents with different age,occupations,educational levels,nationalities and family income(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age,education level,and occupation were the influencing factors of health literacy level(P<0.05).Conclusion The residents'health literacy level in Chenggong District is good as a whole,but the distribution among people is quite different.Health education and health promotion should be carried out continuously,deeply,differently and pertinently according to the characteristics of different people.
