Objective To understand the current situation of health literacy of the elderly aged 60-69 in Anhui Province,and to explore the related influencing factors,so as to provide the scientific basis for formulating health policies suitable for the elderly.Methods The health literacy data of 2 255 elderly people aged 60-69 in Anhui Province were analyzed by multistage stratified cluster random sampling.Results In 2022,the health literacy level of the elderly aged 60-69 in Anhui Province was 9.61%.The three levels of health literacy were basic knowledge and ideas(17.72%),healthy lifestyle and behavior(11.95%),and basic skills(12.53%);the top three literacy levels of six kinds of health problems from high to low were safety and first aid literacy(36.01%),scientific health concept literacy(35.12%),and health information literacy(24.47%).There were significant differences in health literacy levels among residents with different educational levels,occupations and self-rated health status(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis shows that education level was the main influencing factor of health literacy of the elderly aged 60-69 in Anhui Province.Conclusion The health literacy of the elderly in Anhui Province was at a low level,and the literacy of healthy lifestyle and behavior and infectious disease prevention were obviously insufficient.Education level was the main influencing factor on health literacy level of the elderly.
