Investigation on Electronic Health Literacy and Its Influencing Factors of The Elderly in Qingdao Urban Community
Objective To understand the current situation and influencing factors of the electronic health literacy among community older adults in urban areas,and provide the reference for improving the electronic health literacy of the elderly.Methods Based on the ecological model of electronic health literacy,the individual behavior attitude,situational factors,and environmental factors of urban community residents in Qingdao were investigated through questionnaires.Results The level of electronic health literacy of the elderly in Qingdao urban community was relatively low.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the behavior of using online health information,perceived ease of use of online health information,family support,aging attitude,perceived risk of online health information,and chronic disease were the related factors of e-health literacy level in older adults.Conclusion The electronic health literacy of the elderly in the community is affected by multiple factors.Relevant government functional departments and medical and health institutions can improve the electronic health literacy of the elderly and their health management ability by promoting the elderly's access to the Internet,improving self-efficacy,and strengthening family intergenerational support.
