Investigation on Work Stress of Prehospital Emergency Personnel in Shanghai
Objective To understand the current situation of work stress of prehospital emergency personnel in Shanghai and its influencing factors,and to put forward some relevant policy recommendations.Methods Through the prehospital emergency personnel work stress questionnaire,1 502 prehospital emergency personnel were surveyed by convenience sampling method.Results The total mean score of work stress of prehospital emergency personnel in this survey was 3.49±1.06,with high work stress level.There were statistically significant differences in the level of work stress among prehospital emergency workers with different gender,education background,major,work unit,work department,position,job title,working years,and employment mode.Multivariate linear analysis showed that work stress was positively correlated with the work unit,and negatively correlated with the work department,and working years.Conclusion The work stress of Shanghai prehospital emergency personnel is high,and it is recommended to improve the comprehensive quality and stress-resistant ability of prehospital emergency personnel by strengthening training,carrying out targeted stress relief,and optimizing career development channels.
