Analysis of Referral Willingness and Influencing Factors of Children and Adolescents with Poor Vision
Objective To explore the influencing factors of referral willingness of visually impaired children and adolescents,so as to provide the reference for improving the prevention and treatment model of myopia through screening, referral and intervention. Methods From October 2022 to April 2023,a total of 1 145 children and adolescents with abnormal vision were selected as the subjects. The referral willingness and related factors of the subjects were collected through questionnaire survey. Results Among the children and adolescents with abnormal vision,86.72%were willing to refer. The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the degree of myopia, parents'myopia, teachers'request for children to go for a follow-up visit, satisfaction with the time of follow-up,the level of vision cognition, the belief that pupil dilation optometry can obtain accurate refraction, attention to vision protection information, participation in lectures organized by schools/communities,and the belief that children and adolescents with poor vision need further examination and treatment would all affect their willingness to refer. Conclusion In order to improve the referral rate of children and adolescents with abnormal vision screening,it is necessary to optimize the referral terminal of information system, strengthen the health education and referral guidance for students and parents, optimize the referral and guidance process, improve the service quality and professionalism of the review hospital, further improve the mechanism of vision screening, referral and intervention, and improve the prevention and control effect of myopia.
