Objective To explore the effect of health education combined with traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)emotional therapy on the mental state of patients with diabetes in the intensive treatment of insulin pump.Methods A total of 70 patients with diabetes who received intensive insulin pump treatment in a hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as research objects,and were divided into control group and experimental group according to random number table,with 35 cases in each group.The control group received health education,while the observers received TCM emotional therapy on the basis of the control group.The intervention effects between two groups of patients were been compared.Results The treatment compliance and effective rate of the experimental group patients were 94.29%and 97.14%,respectively,which were higher than the control group's 71.43%and 65.57%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the depression and anxiety scores of both groups of patients decreased,but the decrease in the experimental group was greater.The difference in differences test showed that the intervention had a statistically significant net effect(P<0.05);the quality of life score of the patients in the experimental group was(89.65±2.32),higher than that of the control group(73.23±3.26),with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of health education and emotional therapy of TCM in the intensive treatment of diabetes with insulin pump is helpful to improve their treatment compliance,alleviate their negative emotions,and promote their treatment effect.At the same time,it can improve the quality of life of patients.
