Intervention Effect of Multimedia Health Education on Parents'KAP of Third Hand Smoke Exposure
Objective To explore the effect of multimedia health education based on Tiktok on KAP of third hand smoke exposure among kindergarten parents.Methods A total of 120 parents of a public kindergarten were selected as the research object and randomly divided into experimental group and control group.The control group received routine health education on the hazards of third hand smoke exposure and effective avoidance,while the intervention group received multimedia health education based on Tiktok on the basis of the control group;the KAP of third hand smoking were compared between the two groups.Results After the intervention,the total score of KAP of third hand smoke exposure and the scores of each dimension of parents in the experimental group were improved,and the number of smoking in their family members was reduced,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The multimedia health education method based on Tiktok can improve the level of KAP of kindergarten parents on third hand smoke exposure,and improve the smoking situation of children's family members,which has reference significance for creating a comprehensive smoke-free family environment and promoting children's health.
