Objective To explore the role of systematic health education intervention in the nursing of patients undergoing traumatic brain injury surgery. Methods A total of 48 patients with traumatic brain injury surgery admitted to a hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were randomly divided into a control group and an observer group, with 24 patients in each group. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received systematic health education intervention on the basis of routine care in the control group. The level of health knowledge mastery, psychological state,self-efficacy,emotional state, and quality of life between two groups of patients were been compared. Results After intervention, the observation group had higher levels of health knowledge mastery and self-efficacy than the control group;the quality of life of both groups of patients has improved, with the observation group showing a higher degree of improvement than the control group. The net effect of the intervention is statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Systematic health education intervention can significantly improve the quality of life of patients undergoing traumatic brain injury surgery, enhance their self-efficacy,and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. Therefore, promoting the application of systematic health education interventions can help improve the rehabilitation outcomes of patients undergoing traumatic brain injury surgery.
