Intervention Study of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Education on Patients with Stable Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective To analyze the role of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)health education in the intervention of patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Methods A total of 120 patients with stable COPD in a hospital were selected and randomly divided into acupoint massage group(TCM health education and acupoint massage intervention),lower limb function training group(TCM health education+lower limb function training intervention),combined group(TCM health education and acupoint massage combined with lower limb function training),with 40 cases in each group for three months. The levels of inflammatory factors such as white blood cells,neutrophils,TNF-α,IL-6,IL-10,CRP and lung function indexes before and after intervention in the three groups were compared. Results Compared with before intervention, the levels of white blood cells,neutrophils,TNF-α,IL-6,IL-10 and CRP in the three groups after intervention were decreased(P<0.05),and the levels of FVC,FEV1/FVC and MVV were increased(P<0.05),but the improvement of inflammatory factors in the combined group after intervention was better than that in the acupoint massage group and the lower limb function training group(P<0.05).Conclusion Under the premise of health education, acupoint massage combined with lower limb function training can more effectively reduce the level of inflammatory factors in patients with stable COPD and improve lung function, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
