Effect of group sandbox game intervention on occupational stress and mental health of operating room nursing staff
Objective To explore the application effect of group sandbox game intervention in operating room nursing staff.Methods A total of 90 nurses in the operating room of Yichun People's Hospital from August 2021 to August 2022 were se-lected as the study objects.They were divided into control group(45 cases)and observation group(45 cases)by random number table method.The control group received routine psychological intervention,while the observation group received group sandbox game intervention on top of the control group.Both groups continued to receive intervention for 3 months.Occupational stress,mental health and job quality were compared between the two groups before intervention and 3 months after intervention.Results The occupational stress scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after intervention,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The symptom checklist 90(SCL-90)scores of the observation group after intervention were lower than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically sig-nificant(P<0.05).The observation group's work quality scores were higher than those of the control group,and the differ-ences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Group sandbox same intervention can reduce occupational stress among operating room nursing staff,promote their mental health,and respond to work with a more positive attitude,which helps to improve work quality.
