Application effect of traditional Chinese medicine to reduce lipid in con-valescent stage of patients with atherosclerotic cerebral infarction
Objective To explore the effect of Zhibitai Capsules in convalescence stage of patients with atherosclerotic cerebral infarction(ACI).Methods A total of 96 ACI convalescent patients admitted to Hubei Rehabilitation Hospital from October 2021 to October 2022 were selected as the research objects,and they were divided into experimental group(48 cas-es)and reference group(48 cases)according to random number table method.The reference group was treated with an-tiplatelet,lipid-regulating,neurotrophic and other symptomatic treatments,and the experimental group was treated with Zhibitai Capsules on the basis of symptomatic treatment.After 4 weeks of treatment,the changes of blood lipid indexes(cholesterol,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,high density lipoprotein cholesterol),National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)and daily living ability rating scale(Barthel index)of the two groups were compared,and the ef-ficacy of the two groups was evaluated and compared.Results Before treatment,there were no significant differences in blood lipid indexes between two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the high density lipoprotein cholesterol in two groups were higher than those before treatment,and other lipid indexes were lower than those before treatment,and the high density lipoprotein cholesterol in experimental group was higher than that in reference group,and other lipid indexes were lower than those in reference group,with statistical significances(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in NIHSS score and Barthel index between two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the NIHSS scores in two groups was lower than those before treatment,and the Barthel index scores in two groups were higher than those before treatment,and the NIHSS score in experimental group was lower than that in reference group,and the Barthel index score was higher than that in reference group,with statistical significances(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of experimental group was higher than that of reference group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of ACI patients in the convalescent stage,Zhibitai Capsules can improve blood lipids more effectively,promote the further recovery of nerve function and daily living ability of patients,and improve clinical efficacy.
